If this were the first time.... First time I felt such a sadness and (even more) a panic was when I was in Fifth grade and Desert Storm began. I was sure this would turn into another World War. Well, I was 12... Our Geography classes consisted pretty much of the class grilling the teacher on how far missiles from Iraq would go and whether they could reach us.
In any way: this is horrible! Just another reason for me to leave for the desert and live in a cave... then again: that might not look too good either.
It makes me sad as well...I don't see and thing chivalrous or heroic about death and destruction. Hopefully the ignorance on both sides will soon falter and peace will find a way...
