You bet your ass I've indulged in tea time. This was had at a cute cafe called The Muffin Man.
...and coffee time; however, England's coffee is a bit lacking. But hanging out in Chelsea totally makes up for it.
Interesting buildings in Camden.
Notice how I am bundled up? It's getting a bit chilly here!
Inside an awesome hookah lounge.
Story behind this: the drink on the right is mine. We had asked the bartender for shots to liven up the night a bit and Mr. Bartender gave me a 55 proof alcohol that felt like PURE FIRE. I, of course, proceeded to ask for ice and limes and anything that would water that sucker down. This became the best conversation point with the British men next to us...I'll take one for the team!
This picture was taken at the divine moment I got off at Paddington Station and realized that this was the place Paddington Bear was from. Five-year-old Ashley was quite happy at said realization.
On top of exploring London, I've recently booked a trip to both Norway and Portugal in the coming months. I'd say life is going pretty good right now!
Lady, you are just doing it! Norway and Portugal? Totally jealous of your jet-setter lifestyle these days...
ReplyDeleteAnd you're coming to Barcelona right? :D There's nothing I love more than ordering tea in England, since you're actually more or less guaranteed a good cup even from some random wagon in a train station. Coffee sure is another story though, I can't even figure out what they do to it but it's just rank!
ReplyDeleteIs the tea really that delicious? It looks so good.
ReplyDeleteYes. A thousand times yes!
DeleteSounds like you're settling in nicely! I guess next up should be the decision of which Premier League club to back. But really, there's only two right answers, so shouldn't be that hard. :-)
ReplyDeleteI live rather close to Chelsea. How do you feel about that one?
DeleteYes! You have chosen wisely. That's my favorite with Man City taking a second.
DeleteThis was a while back, but I miss this hat: http://photo.clangboomsnap.com/2007/01/very-very-very-very-very-very-bad-dog.html
Deletehahaha!!! Maybe I can send you a new hat!
DeleteYou booked your trip to Norway :) How are you traveling in the end and when? And will you be visiting more than Trondheim? POrtugal sounds nice too, I have wanted to go for years but still haven't gotten round to it..
ReplyDeleteLove your random pictures from London, it's such a great city!
Just Trondheim because I'll just be there from Thursday-Sunday. I fly right into Trondheim :) I'm going October 25-28!!!
DeleteBring a rain coat! Although I hope you won't need it, cause Trondheim is beautiful when the sun shines :) I lived there for 3 years. And if you like chocolate you must try "Freia Melkesjokolade" and "Bergene Melk"...and loads more yummy choc (Stratos, Smash, Crispo etc etc.) ;) Sorry, I just can't help myself, I MISS Norwegian chocolate!!
DeleteJust one week left, wish you a great trip and look forward to hearing about it after :)
There's no such thing as too many snaps.
