It's hard not to adore Stevie, and it's hard not to smile when I hear the first "la" of the song. I particularly like blasting "My Cherie Amour" while cruisin' down a beach-side highway, windows rolled down, swaying (Stevie style) to its amazing melody. People must think I'm insane. But as the title of this post suggests, I'm just happy.

OK... (yes, I'm back :)) I would have to agree with your fave and the one that makes you smile - both EXCELLENT choices. But since I am not so familiar with your worst song, I'll propose one of my own: Disco Duck by Rick Dees - can't.even.listen.to.it.

ReplyDeleteThis is a magnificent song that will still be played hundreds of years from now. Such simple but marvelous lyrics: "You're the only girl my heart beats for, how I wish that you were mine."
