Dancing to Fight Aliens!!!

You wanna know what the HIGHLIGHT of my day was yesterday?

Do ya? Do ya? Do ya? (sorry, I had too much coffee, I can hardly type).

...So I went on all these rides on Disneyland. And do you know what I come across?

CAPTAIN E.O.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot add enough exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Captain E.O. when I was about 4 and adored it. And yesterday, seeing it at 25 (yep, 25), I still adored it. I think you all know how much I love MJ, and have always loved MJ...it didn't take his death to make me appreciate him.

But it did take his death to prompt Disneyland to bring back the attraction. I thought it was just a rumor. I. WAS. ECSTATIC.

Ohhhhhh man. One of the best birthdays ever because of it.

Wait? I'm 25? Shoot.

  3. Only 25?? ...I know, I'm only a few years older. ;0)

Enjoy it, woman! You're at the halfway mark of your twenties... It's going by fast, huh??

OMG-- I must get my butt down to Disneyland to go see Captain EO again! I remember the claws coming out at me. (Did they show it in 3D?)

Do you remember the Wheel of Progress??? I LOOOVED that one. It's gone now. :(

    D.

P.S. - One cool one they had in 2003 was the President Lincoln speech. They added a headphone feature that they didn't have when I was little. Have you seen it?

  5. hahaha...guess I didn't explain it.

Captain E.O. is a 3-D dance show with Michael Jackson. He's the captain of a spaceship and uses dance instead of hate (heh heh) to fight the Aliens :)

Loved it when I was young. Still (obviously) love it now.

D--Yeah, they did show it 3-D. I didn't even know about the Lincoln Speech, but I would love that! I'm always seeing new things at D-land!
