THIS MONTH HAS BEEN BUSY!
On top of the usual holiday shenanigans I usually get into (parties, too much food, ugly sweaters, winter festivals), I also have some exciting/scary news...
I've accepted a writing job (on a trial basis thus far) in addition to my university temp job. This is exciting/scary because it's definitely a bit of a career shift for me. However, I'm really thrilled at the idea of having a more creative career. The job is centered around creating web content for businesses. And guess what?! I even listed this blog on my resume. How funny is that? Putting the ol' blog to use!
Anyway, thought I would share a few pics from the ugly sweater party...because, why not?

Lisa called this her 'Ugly New Years Sweater'
Merry Christmas, San Diego style!!!
Well done on the new job, well worth giving it a go!

Thanks, mate! I couldn't agree more.
DeleteOh goodness, I couldn't imagine letting any future employee see my blog. They'd scan it and be like, "Sorry sir, we've deduced from your blog that you are childish, petty, and too obsessed with pork products to be the kind of person we're looking for in this position."
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I reckon that's make you perfect for a gig at Rolling Stone Magazine.
DeleteCongrats on the new gig! And Merry Christmas Ashley!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Should be fun to write for a living, and it will give you professional experience you can leverage for that next writing gig. "Ugly" sweaters? I think you mean "awesome"!
ReplyDeleteUm.... your sweater's cute!
ReplyDeleteD.
haha, that's what my friend said. I assume you are as obsessed with small dogs as she is? :)
