My Thought Process (While Watching 10 Things)

  • Putting ice on my lower back at the moment, because I hurt it at work. Little kids like to beat me up. ha.
  • Watching 10 Things I Hate About You while administering the ice, which is making me feel better.
  • Missing Heath Ledger. Not just because he was an Australian hottie, but also because he was a damn good actor. Even in teen flicks.
  • Realizing that Joseph Gordon Levitt always was and always will be adorable.
  • Trying to devise a plan to meet said adorable actor. Hmmm...
  • Wishing I could go back to the simplicity of my teen years.
  • Rudely reminding myself that my teen years were anything but simple.
  • Oddly content with staying in tonight and just watching a movie. Or two.
  • Eager to share some news, but wanting to leave it for its own post...
  • Leaving you with that thought, because who doesn't like cliff-hangers?
  • Remembering that it's more fun to give cliff-hangers than to get them. hehehe.

Always On the Go

So now that I'm back from Turkey, I have just a few days to move all my crap outta my apartment. This will drive me crazy...HAhaHaha. Maybe I'm already crazy?

Random topic: I'm very bittersweet about going to see The Dark Knight sometime soon, but I will see it dammit! And say goodbye to Heath :(

I'll be posting regularly--or something like it--sometime soon. Once I have my life, er, stuff in order.

No Heath!!!!!!!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Heath Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Heath Ledger was always one of my favorite actors, and one of the sexiest men ever. I am so sad to hear about his death. I've loved Heath since I saw The Patriot (it showed his acting chops and set him apart from other teeny-bopper actors).

But I know he'll be remembered for his great roles/movies. I'm just we could see more from him.

You know you love an actor too much when friends call you to tell you their condolences, ha. Heath just never knew my love for him...Bye Heath :(

Mmmm...Burritos. And Gay Cowboys. An interesting day.

Hung out with my friend Lauren today. I never get to hang out with her...she lives in Santa Barbara, after all.

We watched Brokeback Mountain. And the film was beautiful, really. And sad. There was some great scenery. And the love story was touching, gay or not gay, it was still a great love story. And I love me some Heath Ledger. Oh YES I do. He looked stunning in the movie, as always. You bet your ass I'll go and see Casanova to look at him. But it's not just that--he's a great actor as well. Oh, Heath! Why must you be taken you beautiful Australian?!

Oh well.

After the movie I went with Lauren to grab some burritos from a place along the beach--we talked about life...haha, girl talk and such. Told her about my boring date.

Why is it that when everyone asks you if you have a boyfriend and you say "no," that they all of a sudden take pity on you? It's not a bad thing, you know? Lauren didn't neccesarily do this, but it came out a little bit.

I feel too busy (well not during the break, but during school) for a boyfriend. Now--if someone comes along that I want to make time for, I will. But I am not going out of my way right now to give anyone a chance. And I'm not unhappy.

What is this stigma with girls that are single? It only gets worse when you get older, I imagine.

Oh well, if it gets to that point, I'll just have to have my affair with Heath Ledger.

I'm just saying...

I really need to sleep. I have to wake up at 6 fucking 30 in the morning. There's no sunlight at that time during the day because God did NOT intend for human beings to be up at THAT time!

Geeez...Heath Ledger is hot. Sorry, I'm looking at a picture of the Australian hottie. And now I'm getting delirious. Yep, goodnight people.

Time for rehab

yes, I will admit it--I am a caffiene addict. It's not my fault though. The addiction began back in 5th grade, when my best friend's mom would take us to Starbucks (back before it was a freakin' monopoly) and get us Mocha Frappacinos. Oh, the whipped cream frozen goodness of frappacinos...it is an addcition.

But coffee is not the only thing I am addicted to. Here are a few others:
  • English, Austarlian and South African accents: I've had this conversation with michelle before, that 1.American accents sound dumb and 2.these three accents just may be the sexiest EVER (you can throw in Scottish and Irish as well). Yep, I'm addicted.
  • The color purple: you see, the "green" phase has gone a little too far. Pink makes me gag sometimes. Yellow is happy, but a little too bright in the morning. All the colors have something to offer, sure, but they can't beat purple. Purple is everything that I love. It is deep, beautiful, thoughful, luscious and sexy all wrapped into one pretty little color. Anything purple I love and must have. Yet another addiction.
  • Orlando Bloom and Heath Ledger: there are a few other boys you could put on this list, but these two are my absolute favorites. Tall, sexy, beautiful boys with (gasp!!) accents. Why can't all men look like them? Dress them tuxedos and I'll faint. Passing out is a sign of a addiction, no?
  • Writing: the problem is that I don't read nearly as much as I write, I need to fix that problem. But, alas, writing can console the saddest of days and release anger built up in you the size of Africa. It is an outlet for pressure and passageway for others to see the real you. Poems are some of my favorite things to write. Writing is like a pill. I must be a pill popper. My mom would be proud :)
  • Traveling: I LOVE learning about other cultures. Being an American, I'm THIRSTING for culture, it's the one thing our country truly lacks. Going to Turkey has taught me what tradition is really about; going to England has showed me history that I can reach out and touch. It's exciting and I need MORE!! I want to go to Italy, France, Scotland, Australia...heck! I don't care, send me to Antartica in a canoe. Any new experience is addicting to me.
  • Sarcasm: I hate it. I would never be addicited to that crap.

There are other things I could have put on this list. These are the things that stand out in my mind and captivate me at the moment. They are truly addicting to me and I can't get enough! Well, enough about my addictions. It's time to go to the store and buy fake guns for our mafia-inspired exchange with a fraternity. Doesn't that sound classy? haha...oh the sarcasm kills me!
