Music Challenge, Day 10: A Song That Makes You Fall Asleep
"In a Sentimental Mood" doesn't make me fall asleep, necessarily, but it sure relaxes me! What a great song to sit around drinking wine to...this song is just chill. I don't know a tremendous amount about jazz, but I know Ellington and Coltrane are two cool cats.

ReplyDeleteJohn Coltrane is one of my favorites. One of the most romantic jazz recordings I have ever heard was a collaboration he did with the singer Johnny Hartman. The entire album so worth the buying! Here is one of the songs:
